This patch actually changed a LOT, but players won't see most of that. 80% of the changes are improvements to the game's code. For example, I wrote a seperate tile-gen library (source code here) and implemented it into this project. The map-gen algorithm is now better (and faster), but it's not really different in terms of gameplay.
One of the gameplay changed is the addition of the Dock building. You can now build units from your colonies, and they will spawn in your dock. The Docks spawn automatically when building a colony, but I might allow players to build their own in the future.
The UI has also been improved a lot. It's smaller and more concise, which I think is a lot better.
